Product Overview

Description

The product immobilizes biomacromolecules to a hydro-gel. Tissue expansion is further achieved through isotropicexpansion of the hydro-gel in water, which improves imaging resolution with the same imaging method.

Features

1. The product can be used for expansion of both intact and sectioned tissues.
2. The expanded tissues are suitable for imaging with common microscopes, such as light sheet microscope and confocal microscope, etc..
3. The product has a high tissue expansion efficiency. For instance, the expansion of a whole adult mouse brain only takes 9-10 days.
4. The product can be used to expand tissues with and without endogenous fluorophores. Genetically encoded fluorophores can be preserved with high efficiency after expansion. Fluorescent staining can be applied before delipidation, after delipidation, or after expansion following the instruction.
5. The expanded tissue has a high mechanical strength and preserve the cellular and subcellular structures effectively.
6. The expansion ratio can be adjusted between 3 and 4 following the instruction.
7. The product uses low toxicity chemicals for tissue expansion.
