Description

Corticosterone is a 21-carbon steroid hormone of the corticosteroid type produced in the adrenal cortex. In many species, including amphibians, reptiles, rodents and birds, corticosterone is the main glucocorticoid, involved in energy regulation, immune response and stress response. Our corticosterone ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA assay that can quantitatively measure corticosterone in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is directly proportional to the amount of corticosterone captured from the sample.
