Description
Dopamine is an organic chemical substance in the catecholamine and phenethylamine family, which plays an important role in the brain and body. In the brain, dopamine acts as a neurotransmitter. Outside the central nervous system, dopamine acts as a local chemical messenger in multiple parts of the peripheral nervous system. Our dopamine ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA that can quantitatively measure dopamine in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The concentration of dopamine in a sample can be calculated by comparing the absorbance (OD value) of the sample with the standard curve.
