Description

Creative Biolabs has developed a new fluorescent cell detection cell line for high content screening, which can quantify FUS/TLS stress particles. This model consists of a U2OS cell line stably expressing the fluorescent RNA binding protein FUS/TLS (sarcoma fusion/sarcoma translocation).

Features

Creative Biolabs offers this cell line as a "stable cell line" in a cryopreserved vial. Each vial of U2OS cell line that stably expresses fluorescent FUS/TLS contains 3 million cells. Creative Biolabs provides 2 vials of cells for each order. These cells can be proliferated in vitro and can be guaranteed to be expanded for more than 30 generations according to the instructions provided in the technical sheet.

The FUS/TLS stress granule assay cell line allows the quantification of pathological FUS/TLS stress granules.
This model allows the evaluation of FUS/TLS protein distribution in living cells and the study of protein localization patterns in space and time.
This model provides a strategy for evaluating drugs that have no cell permeability.

Mycoplasma Testing

The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.

Sterility Testing

The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
