Description
Muellerian inhibitory factor (AMH) is a glycoprotein that is produced by the supporting cells of the testis and causes Muellerian ducts to degenerate. It can also inhibit the growth of tumors derived from tissues of Mueller's duct origin. Although it does not compete with EGF for receptor binding sites, MIS can inhibit EGF receptor autophosphorylation in vitro. Our AMH ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative detection of AMH in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is directly proportional to the amount of AMH captured from the sample.

Application Notes
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of AMH. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between AMH and analogues was observed.
