Description
NeuroDiff™ neural progenitor cell freezing medium is a serum-free medium used for cryopreserving neural progenitor cells (NPC) derived from human embryonic stem cells (ES) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS). This freezing medium is optimized for cryopreservation of NPCs generated using NeuroDiff™ nerve induction medium (catalog number #NCC200502ZP) and cultured in NeuroDiff™ Neural Induction Medium (catalog number #NCC200609ZP). NPC can be frozen at any time after nerve induction, and the recovery rate can be replicated. After thawing, NPC showed a healthy morphology, expressed NPC markers, and retained the potential to expand and differentiate into neurons.

Medium should be stored at -20 °C, until ready to use. After thawing, the medium should be stored at 2-8C, and given a 1-month expiration dating. It is recommended to divide into small portions to avoid repeated heating before each use.
