Description
Mouse anti-rat serotonin transporter antibody, clone 2D7/3 reacts with serotonin transporter, also known as sodium-dependent serotonin transporter, 5HT transporter or Solute vector family 6 member 4. Serotonin transporter is a 630 amino acid ~ 70 kDa multi-pass endosomal membrane protein. Serotonin transporter participates in the transfer of serotonin molecules from the synaptic cleft back to the presynaptic end for reuse, and regulates the utilization of serotonin on serotonergic system receptors.
