Product Overview

Description

Human CD147 cell surface antigen, also known as Basigin, EMMPRIN and collagenase stimulating factor. CD147 is a single-pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein of 385 amino acids, with 3 potential N-glycosylation sites, a single N-terminal (distal) Ig-like C2-type domain and a more proximal Ig-like domain V-domain extracellular region. Produce mouse anti-human CD147 antibody, clone MEM-M6/1, and screen against the recombinant extracellular domain of huCD147 expressed in CHO cells and many other MEM-M6 clones. Epitope mapping shows that clone MEM-M6/1 binds to epitopes in the distal Ig-like C-2 type domain. This was confirmed by flow cytometry studies using construct-coated beads containing only distal Ig-like or proximal Ig-like domains.
