Product Overview

Description

When phosphorylated at serine 21, the mouse anti-GSK3α antibody recognizes glycogen synthase kinase 3α (also known as serine/threonine protein kinase GSK3A). 1993) and CREB (Fiol et al., 1994) and glycogen metabolism (Welsh and Proud, 1993). It has also been reported that this kinase regulates the proteolysis and localization of cyclin D1 (Diehl et al., 1998). Phosphorylation of GSK3 at Serine 21 leads to inactivation of this kinase (Frame et al., 2001), and is associated with poor survival of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
