Description

Human OPC spontaneous differentiation medium is a well-defined serum-free medium that can support the differentiation of human ESC-derived OPC into mature oligodendrocytes by withdrawing growth factors. The medium does not support the differentiation of primary oligodendrocyte precursor cells isolated from brain tissue.

Storage

Cells: When stored under the recommended storage conditions (liquid nitrogen), cells are stable up to five years. Do not expose to high temperature. After expiration, discard all remaining reagents. We recommend using cells within ten generations.

Medium: Medium should be stored at -20 °C, until ready to use. After thawing, the medium should be stored at 2-8 °C, and given a 1-month expiration dating. It is recommended to divide into small portions to avoid repeated heating before each use.
