Our cathepsin S inhibitor screening kit takes use of cathepsin S's capacity to cleave AFC-based synthetic peptide substrates, resulting in the release of AFC, which can be easily detected using a fluorometer or fluorescent microplate reader. This high-throughput adaptive analysis kit is a straightforward, sensitive, and quick way to screen for possible cathepsin S inhibitors.
