Product Overview

Description

The JNK activity immunoassay kit uses JNK specific antibodies to immunoprecipitate JNK from cell lysates. The recombinant c-Jun was then used as a substrate to determine the activity of JNK in the kinase reaction. The phosphorylation of c-Jun can be analyzed by Western blot analysis using phospho-c-Jun specific antibodies. The kit can specifically detect JNK, but not other kinase activities.
• The JNK Activity Immunoassay Kit utilizes a JNK-specific antibody to immunoprecipitate JNK from cell lysate. JNK-specific activity is then analyzed by determining the phosphorylation of c-Jun by Western blotting using a phospho-c-Jun specific antibody.

Species Reactivity

Mammalian

Application Notes

The assay utilizes a N-terminal c-Jun fusion protein bead to selectively "pull down" JNK from cell lysate c-Jun phosphorylation is then measured using a phospho-c-Jun specific antibody.
