Description
MAP-Tau (Microtubule-Associated Protein Tau) is a soluble protein required to stabilize microtubules through tubulin binding. Dysregulation of MAP-Tau expression and subsequent phosphorylation has been implicated in the development of neurologically related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The MAP-Tau assay enables the quantification of the microtubule-associated protein Tau in cell lysates.
