Description
Mouse anti-human neuron-specific enolase antibody recognizes neuron-specific enolase (NSE), also known as γ-enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydrolase, enolase 2 and Neuroenolase. NSE is a kind of ENO2 gene encoding. Three enolase isoenzymes are found in mammals. This isoenzyme is a homodimer and exists in mature neurons and cells from which neurons are derived. During the development of rats and primates, the nervous tissue changes from alpha enolase to gamma enolase. The mouse anti-human neuron-specific enolase antibody can detect a band of 47 kDa. This antibody has been extensively validated by immunoblotting using whole cell lysates.
