Product Overview

Description

The D1 subtype of the dopamine receptor (DRD1) is a Gs/a-protein coupled receptor mainly expressed in the caudate putamen of the central nervous system. Upon binding to its ligand, DRD1 indirectly activates cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase and regulates neuronal development. Two transcript variants, DRD1a and DRD1b exist in vivo.
