Product Overview

Description

Integrin α-V/β-1 is the receptor for vitronectin. Beta-1 integrin can recognize the sequence R-G-D in a variety of ligands. Isoform 2 interferes with isoform 1, resulting in a significant negative effect on cell adhesion and migration (in vitro). When combined with alpha-7/beta-1 integrin, it regulates cell adhesion and laminin matrix deposition. Participate in promoting endothelial cell movement and angiogenesis. The matrix assembly process mediated by fibronectin fibril forming cells participates in the compaction of osteoblasts and forms mineralized bone nodules. It may be involved in the up-regulation of kinase (such as PKC) activity by binding to KRT1.
