Product Overview

Description

This intronless gene encodes a member of the SOX (HMG-box related to SRY) family of transcription factors, which is involved in the regulation of embryonic development and the determination of cell fate. After forming protein complexes with other proteins, the encoded protein can act as a transcriptional regulator. This protein may play a role in the developing nervous system and play a role in tumorigenesis.
