Product Overview

Description

Neuroinflammation is locally produced in the central nervous system through phenotypic changes of different non-neuronal cell types (such as microglia, oligodendrocytes, and astrocytes) in the brain, leading to different cytokines and chemokines The release of C, eventually recruits and infiltrates peripheral blood cells, mainly T-and B cells, into the brain parenchyma. Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) is a glycoprotein that is thought to be important for neuromyelination of the central nervous system (CNS). In humans, this protein is encoded by the MOG gene. It is speculated that it is an "adhesion molecule" necessary to provide structural integrity to the myelin sheath, and is known to develop late on oligodendrocytes.
