Description

Neurostem™ neuronal progenitor cells, currently provided from rodent brain tissue, can be propagated for multiple generations under appropriate culture conditions, including vegetative growth factors and low adherence. When cultured in medium with a low-adherent matrix, neural stem cells form neurospheres that can dissociate for further expansion or differentiation. These cells are also pluripotent, meaning they are able to differentiate into neurons, astrocytes or oligodendrocytes.

Storage

Neurostem neuronal progenitor cells are shipped refrigerated. Cells are stable for up to 6 days at 4-8°C. However, we strongly recommend plating within 1 to 2 days for best results.
