The human oligodendrocyte differentiation kit contains human oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OPC) and an optimized culture medium that can expand and spontaneously differentiate into mature oligodendrocytes. Human oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OPC) can be used in a variety of research applications, including neurotoxicity studies, co-culture applications, and screening molecules that induce or inhibit preferential differentiation into mature oligodendrocytes.

Cells: When stored under the recommended storage conditions (liquid nitrogen), cells are stable up to five years. Do not expose to high temperature. After expiration, discard all remaining reagents. We recommend using cells within ten generations.

Medium: Medium should be stored at -20 °C, until ready to use. After thawing, the medium should be stored at 2-8°C, and given a 1-month expiration dating. It is recommended to divide into small portions to avoid repeated heating before each use.
