Description
The medium promotes the viability and maturation of sensory neurons and permits expression of the sodium channels Nav1.7 and Nav1.8. The medium requires supplementing with Glial-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (GDNF; 25 ng/mL), Nerve Growth Factor (NGF; 25 ng/mL), Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF; 10 ng/mL) and Neurotrophin-3 (NT-3; 10 ng/mL) that are not supplied.
