Description
Alzheimer's disease symptoms are linked to the release of amyloid β1-42 and β1-40 peptides. The activity of two enzymes, β and γ secretase, which cleave the amyloid precursor, controls the formation of these two amyloid peptides. The amyloid β1-40 peptide in whole cells or cell supernatants can be measured using this kit. This test is a quick substitute for ELISA because of its straightforward usage process.
