Description
The new functional nucleic acid aptamer targets amyloid-β peptide 1-40 (Aβ1-40) and has shown the potential to detect Aβ peptide fragments in neuropathologically confirmed Alzheimer's hippocampal tissue samples. The DNA aptamer RNV95 targeting low-molecular-weight amyloid-β peptide aggregates in vitro. It can be used to detect tetramer/pentamer low molecular weight Aβ aggregates in hippocampal tissues of Alzheimer's disease cases.
