Product Overview

Description

Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation provides a label for epigenetic inhibition and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases work by forming large multiprotein complexes. Through association with MAD, SIN3, YY1 and N-COR, a transcription repressor complex is formed. Our HDAC2 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for quantitative measurement of human HDAC2 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is directly proportional to the amount of HDAC2 captured from the sample.
This ELISA kit is used for quantitative measurement of c-jun in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
