Nasu-Hakola disease (NHD), also known as polycystic lipid dysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL), associated with mutations in the TREM2 and TYROBP genes, is a rare inherited leukodystrophy. Creative Biolabs' Nasu Hakola disease line is derived from patients and is an excellent model for studying the disease.
