Excellent
Be invaluable for our studies on retinal diseases
The cells exhibit excellent morphological and functional characteristics, matching the in vivo conditions very closely. Their high purity and consistent performance across multiple batches have significantly advanced our research on retinal degeneration models.
user
Excellent
The results have been consistently impressive
The cells are well-characterized and maintain their functionality over extended culture periods.
user
Excellent
A high-quality product
The cells are robust and reliable, providing reproducible results in our experiments. They have been instrumental in our research on retinal cell signaling pathways and drug testing.
user
Excellent
Highly recommended for retinal research
We've had a great experience with the cell. The cells exhibit strong pigmentation and functional characteristics similar to native retinal pigment epithelium. This has enabled us to explore various aspects of retinal cell biology with high confidence.
user
Excellent
The retinal pigment epithelials have been an excellent addition to our retinal disease studies
The cells are consistently high quality, and their performance has facilitated our research into retinal cell replacement therapies. The detailed characterization provided is very useful for experimental design.
Q&As
Can they undergo cryopreservation again?
After the initial thawing, the viability of the cells is greater than 90%. We do not advise cryopreservation again.
What culture medium do they require?
We provide Human RPE medium, Cat.#NCL-2103-P70C
What is the doubling time of the cells?
The iRPE passage is typically conducted biweekly, once the cells have developed their polygonal shape and exhibit a slight pigmentation. This pigmentation is usually discernible solely in the cell pellet during the passage process.
How many times they can be subcultured before they stop expressing characteristic features of human RPE?
The iRPE cells can be passaged 3-4 times.
