Description

Trichrome stains are among the most commonly used special stains in histopathology laboratories. Gomori's trichrome method is a one-step staining procedure that combines a plasma stain (chromotrope 2R) and a connective fiber stain (fast green FCF) in a solution of phosphotungstic acid supplemented with glacial acetic acid. This kit is designed for use with formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue as well as frozen tissue sections.
