Clusterin, also known as Apolipoprotein J, is a heterodimeric glycoprotein that is a member of the heat-shock protein family. The protein exhibits a wide array of biological functions including clearance of cellular debris through chaperone activity, apoptosis, lipid transportation, cell clustering, and complement inhibition.
