Product Overview

Description

Dicer, also known as double-strand-specific ribonuclease (DCR-1) and helicase with RNase motif (HERNA), processes double-stranded RNA and pre-microRNA (miRNA) to generate siRNA and miRNA, respectively. These short RNA sequences mediate RNA silencing through RISC (RNA-induced silencing complex).

Immunogen

This monoclonal antibody was raised against a fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1638-1899 of mouse Endoribonuclease Dicer.
