Description

In the human β-secretase (BACE1) inhibitor screening kit for the determination of Genie, human BACE1 cleaves the BACE1 specific quenching substrate to produce a product with high fluorescence, which can be tested at Ex / Em = 435/500 Measured at nm. In the presence of a BACE1 inhibitor (control included in the kit), enzymatic cleavage is hindered and can be used to screen new inhibitor compounds.
