Description

The leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine protein kinase 2 positively regulates autophagy through calcium-dependent activation of the CaMKK/AMPK signaling pathway. This process involves the activation of the nicotinic adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAADP) receptor, the increase in lysosomal pH, and the release of calcium from the lysosome. Together, RAB29 and RAB29 play a role in the retrograde transport pathway for circulating proteins (such as the mannose 6 phosphate receptor (M6PR)) between the lysosome and the Golgi in a reversal-dependent manner. Regulates the neuronal process morphology in the complete central nervous system (CNS). Play a role in synaptic vesicle transport. Phosphorylate PRDX3. Has GTPase activity. It may play a role in the phosphorylation of central protein in Parkinson's disease.
