Product Overview

Description

DNA (Cytisube-5-)-Methyltransferase 1 (DNMT-1), is an enzyme that has a role in the establishment and regulation of tissue-specific patterns of methylated cytosine residues. This enzyme associates with DNA replication sites in the S phase and methylates CpG residues to maintain the methylation pattern in the newly synthesized strand, that is essential for epigenetic inheritance.

Partial human DNMT1 recombinant protein (1-200 a.a.) expressed in E. coli.
