Description
This is a synthetic RNA aptamer engineered to fold into a stable G-quadruplex structure. This unique conformation creates a specific, high-affinity binding pocket for Thiazole Orange (TO) dyes, particularly TO3-Biotin. The binding event dramatically enhances the fluorophore's quantum yield, causing it to "light-up" with a strong signal. This makes the aptamer a precise and bright reporter module for quantifying RNA in various in vitro applications.
